In support of National Suicide Prevention Month, The Two Fake Blondes deliver their new single “Lifeline”. Providing a glimmer of hope, “Lifeline” was released on September 10 to critical and peer praise.

“Lifeline” is a catchy, inspirational song with a positive message. And not only is it well-written, it’s well-performed. Another stand-out from The Two Fake Blondes, “Lifeline” follows up on their previous tunes “If You Really Love Me” and “Body”, which have amassed over 100k streams on Spotify alone.

Listen to The Two Fake Blondes — “Lifelife”:

The immensely talented husband and wife duo, The Two Fake Blondes, consists of members Hannah Mac (formerly Hannah Michelle Weeks) and Petey Mac, who write, produce, and perform all of their original music. Hannah has seen tremendous success throughout her music career, having opened for artists like Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker, and performed at notable venues such as The Ryman and the Waldorf Astoria NYC. Petey Mac has been climbing the electronic ladder with originals featured on Spotify’s acclaimed Mint, Dance Rising, and Housewerk editorial playlists, as well as support from the likes of The Aston Shuffle, Daddy’s Groove, and Triple J Radio.

According to the pair, “Lifeline” is an inspirational song that reminds people to call their friends and family to check in on them — now more than ever.

When we wrote this, our hearts were totally taken with the word “Lifeline” — Having seen so many headlines, and so many friends and families enduring loneliness and despair, it inspired a passion inside of us to bring hope through music.

We want this song to inspire people to call their friends and check on them. One conversation can save someone’s life. Check on your happy friends, check on your sad friends, check on your busy friends. Loneliness doesn’t have just one face. “Lifeline” is an anthem of hope for those who are feeling alone and a very important reminder for all of us to check in on the people we love, no matter how busy our lives are. — The Two Fake Blondes
