Luke Alexander has made his Deep Root Records debut along with collaborator Simon Blaze. The track? A modern-day, dance interpretation of Aaliyah’s “Try Again.” An early 2000s classic song, the two teamed up for the cover version — which is out now on the What You Need Records imprint of Deep Root Records.

The song is playful yet gritty, offering its listeners a nostalgic stroll — or in this case, shuffle — down memory lane. An uptempo, blissful tune, Luke Alexander & Simon Blaze’s “Try Again” serves as the 2021 cover song you had no idea you needed. “Try Again” is already receiving high praise from leading electronic outlets and DJs alike. Not only does the track pack a punch, the record has longevity — as does the career of rising artist Luke Alexander.

Luke has been supported by Zedd, Afrojack, deadmau5, Kaskade, Dillon Francis, and more. The breakout producer and DJ has also had the opportunity to perform at notable venues across the U.S., including Marquee New York, Webster Hall, Story Miami, Rockwell, and Mokai, just to name a few.
