Music, lifestyle & culture publication The Nocturnal Times joined forces with leading dance music curator MrRevillz to deliver a 3-day virtual fundraising event — World On Pause Festival.

The World On Pause Festival raised over $10,000 for Covid-19 relief. All proceeds and donations went to three charitable organizations, including The Recording Academy’s/GRAMMYs MusiCares Covid-19 Relief Fund; Feed The Children; and the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation.

Taking place across three days (May 1, 2, & 3), World On Pause was organized by The Nocturnal Times & The 450 Group Founder, Mark Mancino, along with Ashley Revillz, Founder of MrRevillz. In addition to Mancino and Revillz, The Nocturnal Times Managing Editor, Ariana O’Keefe, served as one of the events’ lead organizers along with Editor-in-Chief, Caroline O’Keefe, and Eric Cunningham.

Over 60 artists, including SOFI TUKKER, Sam Feldt, Felix Jaehn, Lost Frequencies, Markus Schulz, ARTY, Lucas & Steve, Bassjackers, Firebeatz, Andrew Rayel, Ilan Bluestone, HARBER, Morgan Page, Sander van Doorn, Frank Walker, Joel Corry, and Wankelmut were among those to perform on the virtually-streamed event.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the impact the virus was having on those directly affected and on the music & entertainment industries, I wanted nothing more than to find a way to give back to those in need during this crisis. As a native New Yorker, working in various sectors of music & arts for over 15 years, in addition to being the founder of The Nocturnal Times, I’m also an artist manager with my company The 450 Group. I’ve witnessed the effects that this pandemic is especially having on our industry and community from various perspectives. I immediately knew there had to be a way for us to make a difference by utilizing our platforms and uniting with partners like MrRevillz and sponsors such as Pioneer DJ USA, to raise money for three charities that mean a great deal to us. Not only will every fan donation go directly to each respective charity, the entire team, partners & sponsors, the artists and all those involved in bringing World On Pause to life are donating their time and all proceeds. Let World On Pause serve as a dedication to the first responders, essential personnel, those on the front lines, and those who have been most directly impacted by this global pandemic.“ — Mark Mancino (Founder of The Nocturnal Times & The 450 Group)

“World On Pause is an online festival uniting friends and musicians from around the world. Our goal is to share an experience with our fans and provide a bit of normality to those isolating at home. Over the three days we will raise essential funds supporting those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Please tune in, engage, and join us for some amazing performances.” — Ashley Revill (Founder of MrRevillz)
